Life has obstacles in stock for all of us and I invite you to work with me on ways to have a meaningful and fulfilling life despite the curve balls that life throws us. I want to learn about your struggles and challenges while helping you to identify your strengths and resources. I enjoy working collaboratively with my clients and tailoring my treatment approach to your specific needs and your personal and cultural background. I strive to foster an inviting and affirming environment for all my clients.
My work is grounded in evidence-based practice. This means that I provide treatments that have been well researched and have proven effective across a range of research studies while also incorporating your preferences and my clinical expertise.
I primarily utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and the Unified Protocol for Transdiagnostic Treatment of Emotional Disorders (UP) but I am also comfortable drawing from other evidence-based approaches.
